Harish B. Sharma


Rajasthani and Hindi writer, Harish B. Sharma is a journalist.  Harish was born on 9 August 1972 in Kolkata.
Harish is a native of Bikaner and has done his Postgraduate degree in Hindi and Rajasthani with a diploma in journalism. In Rajasthani, he earned his MA degree from Swarnapadak.

Harish B. Sharma, who has written more than a dozen books so far, is known for boldness in his plays and stories.  Especially his recently published story collection ‘Bajot’ brings a new look to the modern stories of Rajasthani.

Sharma has written ‘Tham Panchida’, ‘Satoliyou’,  ‘Aiso Chatu Sujan’, ‘Rang-Rajasthani’, ‘Bajot’ in Rajasthani, ‘Phir Main Phirkar Phir Aata’,  ‘Gopichand’s boat and ‘deity’ in Hindi.

Harish has edited three Hindi story collections under the name ‘Katharang’.
Harish is a playwright whose 15 out of 20 plays have been staged across the country.
Harish, selected for the prestigious Bal-Sahitya Puraskar of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi in 2011, also produced critical research articles in various literary events.
