Prabhat Ranjan

Prabhat Ranjan is a teacher of Hindi in Zakir Husain College, Delhi. He has done his Graduation and Masters from Hindu College. 

He is also a fiction writer, translator and editor. He is the writer of ‘Kothagoi’.

He has published two collections of short stories ‘Janaki Pul’ and ‘Bolero Class’ and has translated more than 30 books including Anne Frank’s Diary, Mohsin Hamd’s novel Moth Smoke, Khushwant singh’s book ‘Khushwantnama’, autobiography of dilip kumar, devi of devdutt pattnaik.

He has been Awarded with the Sahara Samay Katha Samman,  Premchand Samman, ABP news best blogger award for the year 2014 for his blog ‘janki pul’. He got Krishna baldev vaid fellowship in 2013.

Prabhat also has received first ‘dwarika Prasad Agrawal bhaskar yuva puraskar’ of rupees one lakh for the book ‘kothagoi’ during Jaipur literature Festival in 2016. His book ‘paltoo bohemian’, a memoir of Manohar shyam joshi was a big success of 2019.
